Having lived, worked, and raised a family in Acton, Boxborough, Concord, and the surrounding towns, Daphne has a deep and personal knowledge of the area. She understands the character, schools, neighborhoods, and market nuances that matter most to clients. She especially loves helping buyers find the home that feels “just right” and guiding them through the process with empathy and creativity.
Over the years, Daphne has built a proven track record of success by combining market insight, clear communication, and an eye for presentation. Her passion for home design and staging often benefits her sellers, helping properties make a strong first impression and sell quickly.
Daphne supports her clients with a trusted network of professional referrals for every stage of the buying or selling process. Her goal is to make each client’s experience seamless, stress-free, and enjoyable.
Family is Daphne’s greatest joy—she and her husband, Ted, love spending time with their four young adult children, now ages 20 through 26. She volunteers alongside her family through the Greek Orthodox Church community, including a camp for children and teens and a special-needs camp program. Daphne also fosters dogs through Brown Dog Coalition, a local rescue organization—95 puppies (and counting) have found their forever homes through the Barbas household since 2021.
Daphne donates a portion of every sale to Operation Housewarming, a ministry established in 2012 that provides essential household goods for homeless veterans transitioning into housing.
In her spare time, Daphne enjoys gardening, hiking, home renovation projects, and spending time with family—both near and abroad.
